What age do I have to be?

Wheller on the Park is an over 65 retirement village so either yourself, or your partner must be a minimum of 65 years old.

Is there a Wheller on the Park bus?

Yes! Our Wheller on the Park bus runs Monday to Friday, giving residents easy access to local facilities and services including the Aspley Hypermarket, Westfield Chermside, Kedron Wavell Services Club, Chermside Library, and the Chermside Medical Centre.

Do the apartments/villas have individual air-conditioning units?

Each apartment has two air-conditioning units, one is situated in the living room and one is in the main bedroom. All rooms are air-conditioned in the villas.

How many emergency call buttons are there in each apartment/villa?

Each apartment/villa features a "Doctors Safety Line" 24 hour emergency call system. This will be in the form of a call button on a pendant, which can be worn around the neck or hung on the wall.

What facilities are on offer at Wheller on the Park?

Wheller on the Park offers a wide range of quality facilities including:

May I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, pets are impractical in a retirement village. However, while it is not possible for an apartment resident to bring a pet, some exceptions may be made for villa residents with pre-existing pets. Small dogs and cats may come in with villa owners, if they have been assessed as 'neighbour friendly' by a vet.

Is there a lift from the basement car park in the apartment block to the upper floors?

Yes, there is a lift that carries occupants from the basement directly to each floor.

Are the fittings throughout the apartments/villas user friendly?

Yes, all fittings eg. Taps, showerheads, handles and switches have a user friendly design for your convenience.

Is their any home care services available to residents?
